This Department 56 Heritage Village “Big Ben” is a charming piece from the beloved Dickens Village Historical Landmark Series. This intricately detailed clock structure is entirely hand-painted and comes with a light that creates a warm inviting glow. Big Ben is not the name of the clock but refers to the biggest bell, which hangs in the Clock Tower of the actual landmark. Charles Dickens spent the early part of his life working as a reporter in the building where Big Ben now stands. This retired piece stands at a height of approx. 14.5 inches tall and 10.5 inches wide. Box does show signs of wear, but the piece is in mint condition.
