Crier and Wife Honoured
Town Crier Roy Wilson and his beautiful wife and escort Kay where honoured today at the Mayor’s Levee in Wasaga Beach with the very prestigious “Order of Wasaga Beach.” In the photo is His Worship Mayor Cal Patterson and his wife Debbie, also a recipient for her years of volunteer service.
The Town of Wasaga Beach hosted its annual New Year’s Levee on Sunday, Jan. 13 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the RecPlex. The event gave residents of the town a chance to mingle with the mayor and town council, and say Happy New Year to their neighbours and other community members.
Other award winners this year were Debbie Patterson, Marilyn Ruttan, Bonnie Cooper and Thelma Morrison.
The Order of Wasaga Beach Award is given to those individuals who improve the community by volunteering their time and effort.
