I would like to thank you (and your fellow criers) for your participation in this year’s Oktoberfest Thanksgiving Day Parade on Monday, October 9, 2006. It was an absolutely perfect day for the Parade! The 39th annual Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest Thanksgiving Day Parade will be on Monday, October 8, 2007 and applications

Bob Heil Retires

After almost 20 years of service the Town Crier for Lincoln, Wainfleet and Haldimand retired.

heil.jpgBob thoroughly enjoyed the years of crying and look forward to being a spectator in the future. He is a Life Member of the Guild and looks forward to keeping abreast of the “goings-on” in the world of Town Crying and to keep in touch with the many friends that he made through the Guild.

Niagara Grape and Wine Festival Parade

The Ontario Guild of Town Criers was again represented at the head of the Niagara Grape and Wine Festival Parade.

The following Town Criers helped Mark Molnar with his Niagara Grape and Wine Festival Parade: Tony VanderMaas, Dave McKee, Derek Miller, Dave Phillips, George Sims.
